Last time we blow at PG (Public Glass, that is)

These are pix from when Chris, Amy and I blew at PG – for the last time this year (other than cup making on Friday evenings, which we will still do)! Chris says that Amy is a good blowing assistant – consistent and good amount of air. I do better at the organizing part, setting up the tools, colors, bringing glass bits, flashing (not what you think!), and puntying. Chris, of course, is the Gaffer. The Guy Who Calls The Shots! Over all we all did well as a Glass Team!

These rough shapes of the candy dishes will be cut with diamond blade saw at the lines, and will have a square or rectangular shape, about 2″ tall.  The Absinthe glasses are finished.  Amy’s bunny needs a bit of cold work to grind down the punty bottom and smooth it down.

Baking powder also works with glass!
All pieces are beautiful and the bunny is so cute.
